Flowers create beauty in gardener's paradise
A Festival of Flowers certainly brings a vision of numerous colours to mind and for any avid gardener; a wonder of what could be on display, for purchase and what ideas to implement once home.
The Festival of Flowers is hosted by the South Australian Begonia Society over the weekend of Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April 2020 at St Paul's College, 792 Grand Junction Road, Gilles Plains. On Saturday, the doors will open at noon through to 4.00pm and on Sunday, an early start would be from 10.00am through to 4.00pm.

With only a $3.00 entry fee, visitors will think they are in heaven as they stroll around the displays of African Violet, Ferns, Bromeliads, Fuschias, Begonias. Geraniums, Cacti and Succulents, Cottage Plants, Salvias, Orchids and Carnivorous Plants. Actually; something for every plant lover's taste and garden style.
There will be plenty of plant sales and supplies as well as potting demonstrations for those who want to learn a few more tricks of the trade. A Devonshire Tea and Sausage Sizzle will keep the hunger pains at bay and there will also be a monster raffle to try your luck at winning.
The South Australian Begonia Society is a group of people with a common interest in growing, preservation and propagation of Begonias. You may be just as keen as they are and if so, talk to one of the volunteers on the day if you would like to join the Society.
Why? Plants brings beauty and personal satisfaction to the grower
