On Sunday the 24th of February 2019, Festival of Colours (also known as 'Holi Festival') will be returning to Barwon Park Mansion in Winchelsea.
The family-friendly event hosted by Hare Krishna Valley provides a great opportunity for members of the community to come together and celebrate, while enjoying some great food, music and entertainment.
FoodThe event will feature a range of activities for people of all ages, including:
Colour-throwing, which will take place every hour in front of the main stage
Meditation and fortune-telling
Face painting and henna hand art
Children's activities, including games, jumping castles, and a petting zoo.

FoodA selection of vegetarian and vegan snacks and food will be available to purchase all day, with prices ranging between $5-$12 a plate.
Drinks (including Chai) will also be available to purchase on the day.
Getting ThereBarwon Park Mansion is located at 105 Inverleigh Road, Winchelsea, Victoria. If you're travelling by car, it takes approximately 1.5 hours to get there from Melbourne and 40 minutes from Geelong.
From Melbourne, take the M1 heading west towards Geelong. At Waurn Ponds, take the Princes Highway (A1) and follow it until you arrive in Winchelsea. On approach to Winchelsea, turn right into Inverleigh Road.
Car parking is available at the event, and costs $10 per car.
A couple more things...
Meat, alcohol, smoking and drugs are not permitted at the event

In the event of extreme weather conditions, the event will be cancelled.
