Easter holiday fun comes to Chadstone in the form of hosts Josh Earl and Tessa Waters at the
Comedy Club for Kids. A jam-packed show of Festival funnies, it's a super-sized, super-fun show especially for kids aged 6-12. It's on at
The Parlour in
Chadstone for 60mins at 1.30pm each day.
Children are Stinky . True or false, it's all at the
Circus Tricktease at Chadstone, at 11am each show day for 50 mins. Winner Children's Choice Award, Edinburgh Fringe, this is high calibre circus, a rocking soundtrack and big belly laughs. With sold out seasons around the world, both adults and little ones will love it. It's recommended for ages 3-12, but honestly, everyone will love it!
The
Comedy Festival Showcase is also at
The Parlour at 3pm and 5pm on show days; a little something for the adults, and runs for 60 mins. It delivers a diverse lineup of spectacular comedians from around the country and will be hosted by Dave Callan for Chadstone's April Entertainment Series.
Every Saturday in April from 4-9pm, you'll find your freebie events at Chadstone as follows. First up at the
Luxury Precinct, on the ground level, you'll find
Mallakhamb India . Having just finished performing at Sydney Festival and Perth Fringe, these traditional Indian acrobatic gymnasts will amaze you with skills that defy human ability.
DADO will be
outside David Jones on the Lower Ground in a character-based clown show that is both stylistic and innovative. He's more than a street performer, having performed throughout Europe in variety shows and theatre festivals to sellout crowds. He uses physical comedy, mime, improvisation and he has skills as one of the best balloon sculptures in the field!
Maple Staplegun will also be
outside David Jones Lower Ground floor, armed with hula hoops and a quirky attitude. She's set to show you not all is what it seems. Amazing hula hoop manipulations mixed with absurd improvisations and physical comedy will amaze and make you laugh. She's appeared at festivals all over the world performing her traditional and amazing circus ring techniques.
Stay up to date with
Festival de Luxe and check in on the program as it evolves. Head over to Chadstone The Fashion Capital for jaw-dropping entertainment at The Parlour below Hoyts and free entertainment throughout the centre.
