Festa Julina and Welcome to Thornbury are putting on a fabulous Brazilian Winter Festival! Festa Julina is a traditional Brazilian Winter Festival, celebrated locally which is even more popular than Carnaval! There will be Brazilian bands, Brazilian theatre and Brazilian food!

It will be held on Saturday 20th July 2019 from 2.00 pm to 11.00 pm at Welcome To Thornbury, 520 High Street, Northcote.



Festa Julina serves juicy Brazilian steaks and burgers and you can have these at this Winter Festival.



The event marks the arrival of winter right across Brazil and the end of the corn harvest to celebrate the oncoming rain. The Festa Julina here in Melbourne will feature a traditional theatre performance of the [i]Runaway Bride[/i] and [i]Casamento[/i] plus:





There will be a full food line-up announced soon, so check back closer to the date for the full schedule of events.
