McGinn Road is a hive of activity with this new local hang out being checked out by the locals. The owners of Mitchelton's popular Blackwood Café have decided to expand with this new café, surprising and pleasing all the Ferny Grove locals. With its light, breezy décor, this new café is a great place to chill out on the weekend, with plenty of seating, comfy vibe, old fashioned hospitality and a menu to boot. The well thought out menu offers all-day breakfast and all-day lunch options to tuck into over the weekend with Keto options, paleo, vegan and vegetarian options available. The unbeatable breakfast menu provides moreish options such as Keto Klassic brekkie with eggs, bacon, chorizo, halloumi, avocado and hollandaise sauce to devour. If you like something a little simpler, there is always the Smashed Avo with fresh herbs, feta, lemon and beetroot balsamic or you can build your own breakfast.





This is definitely a cafe to check out, as not only is there a specialised kids' menu, but also a kid's corner to try out. This new local haunt is family-friendly with an assortment of treats and healthy mains to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. Did I mention this café is dog-friendly with doggie treats available for the family fur baby to enjoy as well? This is a great cafeé to hop on down to for a refreshing drink alcoholic or non-alcoholic during the summer as their berry smoothie works a treat to quench the thirst. The cafe is open from 5:30am to 4pm with the kitchen closing at 3pm, Monday to Fridays. Weekend operating hours start from 6pm to 4pm, with the kitchen closing at 3pm. Hours of operation will change once the school term commences. Ferny's Café and Espresso Bar is located at 23/51 McGinn Road, Ferny Grove.
