The Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club was opened in 1947 and from that time to today, the club has proudly supported the local community. Historically the club was known as the place to be for big-name entertainment and has also become known for the best choice of food in the area.

Each month, the club brings to the city where children have the opportunity to get up close and cuddle furry baby farm animals, ride a pony or watch sheep being shorn. Not only is this a fun morning, but it is also an educational opportunity for young children who have not seen farm animals up close.
