The Felton Food Festival is about the food, the soil, the climate and the farmer. Initiated by Friends of Felton, this outdoor festival showcases food stalls with produce pulled from the rich, black soil, such as barley, sunflowers, chickpeas, sorghum and staples like lettuce, onion and wheat. Fresh meats, dairy and eggs will sell beside a plethora of additionals such as soybeans, linseed and millet.

Celebrity chefs Alison Alexander, Matt Golinski and Glen Barratt will compete in the National Sausage King Competition. With them will be celebrity gardeners Jerry Coleby Williams and Costa Georgiadis.

Join over 10,000 visitors to meet the farmers, sample the cooking, win one of three prizes and learn to grow, gather and enjoy, while supporting the local economy.

Magnificent scenery, fresh eats from cereals to vegetables to dairy, will see you experience a fun, relaxing and healthy day with the family. Donate as a volunteer, organise your own stall or become a sponsor.

The festival recommends accommodation in nearby areas such as the Quest in Toowoomba, Binnowee Cottage Nobby, the Bull and Barley Inn and Rudd's Pub Nobby. The Felton Food Festival is pet-free and smoke-free.
