Felton Food Festival celebrates its biggest, freshest and most entertaining event to date. This 3rd annual food and produce event is back for a Sunday you wont forget, especially as this is the International Year of Farming Families.

Treat your tastebuds, spoil your senses and set your humour free with an absolute smorgasbord of local produce, gourmet foods, demonstrations and celebrity cook-offs at this years Felton Food Festival. The biggest program to date, the festival boasts free buses out and back from Toowoomba, plenty to eat and drink, music and fun hay bale seating. Visitors will have the opportunity to walk through live crop displays, sample wines, coffees, beers and foods from all over the region. This year's selection of stall holders is so diverse... there is something for everyone.

The Festival Committee is excited to announce celebrity chef, Alastair McLeod, and celebrity gardener, Costa Georgiadis, will be hosting live shows as well as compete in a Cook-off. This years Cook-off has a twist, that even they don't know about!

"We think our visitors are going to really love this year's event even more than the last!" Sally McCreath, one of the event organisers said. "During the day there is music from The Barefoot Orchestra, The Pirate Brides, Dana Hassell, as well as the Blenders, who are a Barber Shop Quartet. There is ample seating, areas to relax, food, drink, and something on the program for everyone."

With local stall holders offering an extensive range of foods and produce, visitors should arrive hungry. Breads, cheeses, gourmet foods, beef and lamb gourmet burgers, traditional country slices, crepes, allergy free foods, pickles and preserves are just the beginning. There is plenty of coffee, wines, beers, water and soft drinks all day as well.

"We have created a food festival that showcases our region! Sally says, "and we want to show it off to you."

So come and enjoy a relaxing day in the country on Sunday 27th April from 9am-4pm at 64 Bryce Rd, Felton East. Just 30 mins SW Toowoomba.
