After visiting the Denfair exhibition in the city, we decided to treat ourselves to a lavish fine dining dinner at Felt restaurant. As always I check out the dessert menu first, and had already decided that I was having the rosewater fried ice cream.
The Rosewater fried ice cream was decorated with Turkish delight pieces and pistachio flavoured Persian ferry floss. What an exotic melting pot of flavours, the taste was heavenly.
The waiting staff made us feel very comfortable, and were friendly and knowledgeable. We were so full after dinner that we decided to stay the night.
Felt Restaurant is located on the ground floor of Hotel Lindrum on Flinders Street, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also serve high tea on weekends from 1- 4pm. Now I can't wait to try the high tea and see what sweets are on that menu..
