Over the course of eleven days (Thursday, 30th May, 2013 - Sunday, 9th June, 2013), there will be no less than 54 free dance classes as part of Queensland Performing Arts Center's Feet First: an invitation to dance program. Head along to QPAC's Cultural Forecourt, soak up the winter sun and learn to move those feet in a new and different way. Each class will involve some demonstration of the moves and the teacher will introduce a basic routine in their particular genre.

All ages and all levels of skilled dancers are welcome to join the free classes which range from burlesque to salsa, ballroom to rockabilly. For the complete list of dance classes available and details about each of the teachers involved, visit the QPAC website.

Children and Family Friendly Classes:

They really have included something for everyone. On Saturdays and Sundays, there will be children and family friendly classes from 1.30pm - 2.30pm and 2.30pm - 3.30pm, with Bollywood, Baby Ballet, Tap and Hip Hop on the menu. On Friday and Saturday nights, a live band will play on the Cultural Forecourt's outdoor stage with introductory classes in Social Latin and Rockabilly on offer. Sounds like a lot of fun to me - might just see you there.
