Well, this day-out has just got a whole lot better because their brand new sparkling cafe, The Feed Shed Cafe, has opened!
First impressions are it is spacious, clean and airy. Then you see the quirky and eclectic mismatched tables and chairs, apt farm animal cushions and artwork on the walls, and realise you are going to enjoy a bite to eat and a beverage in this charming cafe. The style they have gone for compliments the venue entirely.
There is an indoor area and an outdoor covered area, both with ceiling fans, so you can hopefully choose your preferred seating area, but I imagine this will be a popular addition, so you may need to have your pitstop around the busy periods.
If you are lucky and bring grandparents with you, there is a cosy reading corner with newspapers where you can have a 5 minute relax.
There is a fridge of sweet and savoury goodies, all reasonably priced. A slice of cake is $6.50 and quiche served with salad or chips, a reasonable $12.50.
There is a selection of hot food for lunchtime. You can get a brioche burger for $10 (add $3 for chips and $3 for side salad) and the kids menu is just $10 and includes chicken nuggets/party pies/sausage rolls etc with chips and a juice box or water.
Hot drinks are normal Perth prices, a large coffee $4.80 and a pot of tea for one $4.50.
