Melbourne's success story, we can't go wrong when we say there's always something happening at Fed Square in the heart of the CBD, opposite Flinders Station, corner Flinders and Swanston Street. This year it's no different, with many exciting, engaging and immersive events on the calendar. Cupid's Koi Garden by ENESS is surely the icing on the cake that tops all events. Running from 21 Jan to 6 Feb 2022 from 6am to 11pm daily at the Main Square, come along and explore a riot of vibrant colour at this immersive, six-metre-high giant fountain and a school of koi fish surrounding the cheeky cherub, Cupid. Be warned; don't get too close to Cupid as he could spray water on anyone who gets too close. Featuring 360-degree tracking technology, Cupid's Koi Garden by ENESS is a wonder of art and science, and a must-visit destination this summer!

Along with Cupid's Koi Gardens, the Urban Silo Art Trail will also launch on 21 Jan and run till 31 Mar 2022. In celebration of both the events, Fed Sq is giving away free ice cream from 12pm to 7pm. Chocolate gelato and mango sorbet (dairy-free) will be available at the Kaleidosquare cart next to the Main Stage. Limited numbers are available. Keep an eye out for the cheeky giant seagull's Fifi and Fred, who will be roaming the square from 12pm to 2pm. The mini silo art trail pays homage to Victoria's iconic Silo Art Trail. Wander around three miniature replicas of Victoria's iconic wheat silos, which have been painted by three well-known mural artists. See the mini versions of the Albacutya silo, painted by artist Kit Bennett, the Sheep Hills silo painted by artist Adnate, and the Goorambat silo painted by Artist Dvate.

But first - Disney: The Magic of Animation at ACMI 20-22 Jan 2022 6-9.30pm ends this weekend! To close out the exhibition, ACMI is celebrating all things Disney with after-hours access, a pop-up bar, Disney remixes to get you in the groove and installations of your favourite characters for the perfect Instagram moment. This is a ticketed event, so book now via the given link.
