Bargain books in the city
Book Fair
Federation Square Book Market

The Fed Square Book Market is an event that's been running for many years and the place to be if you're wanting to find some bargain books.

Amongst the varied stalls, you'll find something for everyone, from cookbooks and craft, to history, travel, biographies and an extensive range of fiction for all ages. The market stalls are all located in the atrium section of Fed Square, meaning it is indoors so you don't need to worry about the weather, and it is open every Saturday from 11am until 5pm, plus entry is free.

As the books are mostly second hand, they are reasonably discounted, plus the physical condition of books are still excellent. In addition to this, the market has some hidden gems amongst their stocks and it's just a matter of digging through the vast range in order to find that book which you'll either be holding onto tightly or be wanting to share with friends and family.

As well as enjoying the range of book stalls, cafes are also located on site plus toilet facilities and disability access is not an issue. So whether you're looking for a timeless classic or just browsing for a quirky cook book or children's novel. The Fed Square Book Market has it all. So why not go grab a bargain and find a book that invites you to curl up on the sofa with a warm drink and get absorbed in the world of your favourite author.
