The Heart of Melbourne, there's always something happening at Fed Sq to bring the community together. The Big Screen is lighting up this summer with a stack of classic films! The best part? It's all completely free! To kick-off the series, the Australia Day long weekend will see a cracking lineup of true Aussie classics including The Castle, Bran Nue Dae, Muriel's Wedding, Strictly Ballroom, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Australia Daze and Red Dog.
Plus there's the original Rocky, The Goonies, Little Shop of Horrors, Karate Kid, Stand By Me, Labyrinth, beachy rom-com classic Splash and more all lined up for a (hopefully) balmy Melbourne evening.
It's all happening inside Fed Oasis. So there's comfy seating, shaded areas, environmentally-friendly recycled astroturf, and in-square food and drink delivery. Just order from one of the fabulous restaurants and cafes and you've got a gold-class cinema experience at your fingertips. Comb out that mullet for some 80s classics and check out the schedule here.
