On the weekend we got out and did what we do best - Wandercooking! Well...wandering and eating anyway... Only today we were known as Feasters and were in the very capable hands of Caitlin, the host and creator of Feast On Foot , a three hour tour that takes you on an enthralling journey through the laneways of Adelaide.

Feast On Foot is a brand new experience melding together a unique blend of art, history, food and quirky random facts in between. Whether you are a Radelaidian or Canadian, a foodie or a newbie, Caitlin's tour will feed your soul. This is your chance to meet new people, explore new places and see Adelaide from a whole new perspective. We don't want to give too much away so won't go into detail (but there will be chocolate - lots of chocolate - ohhhh yeah!)

Sweet-tooths and savoury-nuts rejoice! This party is for you and you're all invited to share in the many great destinations along the way. We do recommend that you bring a friend or two to share in the culinary delights to ensure you don't miss out on any delicious opportunities. One thing is for sure: you won't go hungry! Future Feasters beware - do not eat breakfast before this tour!

As foodies ourselves, we were pretty impressed that almost all the locations were a new discovery for us. Not only that, but Feast On Foot gives you the opportunity to go 'behind the counter' and learn a little more about the stories of the people who bring you their creations. We found this to be quite fascinating and a great point of difference between other tours on offer.

Without being spoilsports and saying too much about the venues or locations, we will say that we were very impressed by Caitlin's background knowledge of the local street artists, and the interpretations and stories behind the various artworks; we can't wait to get back out there to explore and find more art hotspots around our city. It was interesting to note, the further into our tour, the more aware we became of street art all around us that we would usually walk by without a second glance. It made us curious: Who made it? Why did they place it there? What does it stand for?

Held every Saturday rain or shine, the tour begins at The Stag, one of Adelaide's oldest pubs on East Terrace. Tours can be booked via facebook or the Feast On Foot website. Numbers are limited so be sure to book in advance. Last minute bookings are accepted up until the Friday before if places remain available.

**
We give Feast On Foot 4/5 Wanders for expanding our knowledge of Adelaide and making us appreciate our home town just a little bit more. Sometimes it's fun to be a tourist in your own city!

Where 1 Wander isn't worth getting off the couch for and 5 Wanders should leave a trail of dust in your wake: it's that good.**
