is located at 17 Synagogue Place off Rundle Street in the Adelaide Central Business District. Offering Modern Australian food. They're known for their burgers, but they also offer steak sandwiches. Open Monday-Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 11am-9pm.
Their first store located at Blackwood was established in 2010 and in 2013 they added two new stories, at Synagogue Place Adelaide and Kensington Park. FB's goal is to deliver the best gourmet burger experience in town and they live up to their goal.
Their burger options include Fancy Beef, Fancy Lamb, Fancy Chicken and Fancy Vegetable Burgers. They have gluten-free and vegetarian options available, too.
The Burger rolls are fresh and not at all greasy, but the thing that makes their burgers stand out are the sauces. Offering home-made sauces in Smoked Chilli Mayonnaise, Tomato Relish, BBQ Relish and Herby Mayonnaise on their burgers and as a dipping sauce for chips.
Three stand out options on their menu include:
Tru Blu Steak Sandwich
Tender South Australian steak, creamy blue cheese sauce, salad and relish.
Holy Smokes
100% South Aussie beef, chargrilled peppers, smoked chilli mayonnaise, salad and BBQ relish.
The Legend
100% South Aussie lean lamb, fresh field mushroom, caramelised onion, goats cheese, herby mayonnaise, leaf salad and fresh avocado.
There are also Mini Burgers on the menu for small eaters or people who can't make up their mind and want to try more than one. Five of their burgers are available as mini burgers including 'Moo Moo', 'Little Chicky', 'Mini Sunrise', 'Mini Smokes' and 'Mini Delight'.
The food is very impressive having tried 'The Crispy Bacon and Cheese' and 'The Hot Chicky' I can say I've never left disappointed. The chips are offered in three sizes and the 'Tall Chips' is enough between two people we found that out the hard way when we over catered.
The venue is very unique looking with booths set up outside in different styles and wooden tables inside. It has a rustic feel about the place that really makes the venue amazing. Its a great place to grab a late night feed with a bunch of friends or a casual lunch or dinner with family.
The food is more expensive than going to Hungry Jacks, and although it may look like a take-away burger it doesn't taste like one. Its' a Fancy alternative to an everyday burger. Try 'Fancy Burgers' for a good meal at an affordable price.
