Check out Faye's historic 'cave'

Curious about how the people in Coober Pedy live? Take a tour of Faye's underground home.
Originally the mail man's garage the dugout was bought by a woman named Faye during the mining rush and slowly dug out to resemble the large multi room house it is today.

Taking her ten years Faye included a bar, kitchen and even an above ground room with an in ground pool. Complete with impressive jade walls, large vents, cupboards, stairs and even a cellar it is enough to make anyone want to live underground.

Now owned by another elderly couple you are welcome to come and enjoy the guided tour of Faye's house.

Faye's house is located at the end of Old Watertank Road.
A guided tour with the current owners only costs $5
