St Kilda the funky part of Melbourne! Whether it is its infamous past as the red light district, its arthouse effect, a beautiful walk along the seaside beach or its great cafe culture - you are spoilt for choice here.

Where to eat?
It could be Fitzroy Street or Acland Street in St Kilda or perhaps one of the many small sidestreets which make up this amazing part of Melbourne.
I recently visited here and was amazed at how quickly they had come into their own, with wonderful top cuisine and great culture abounding along St Kilda, even more so than I remembered in the past. I was really impressed with the high quality of food in this great location.
So where is your favourite place to eat in St Kilda?
To get started perhaps you could try:
Phamish is located opposite Luna Park and they did an amazing breakfast as well as great cocktails.
Chinta Blues is a great location for its laid back attitude.
Embassy on Fitzroy Street has good French food with a beautiful setting.
Mirka serves up amazing desserts.
Veludo has something for everyone on the menu, along with a very impressive wine list and it always seems to have a quite fun and active atmosphere. They often play music late into the evening.
The Stokehouse is a long-standing old favourite from many people here.
Right on the waterfront is Soul Mama. Here you can have a great meal, keep your hip pocket happy and also feel like you're doing something good for the environment.
