On Sunday 2nd of September 2018, Werribee Open Range Zoo will treat Dad like a true king with their exclusive Father's Day dining and safari experience!Don't miss this very special opportunity to indulge in a Father's Day hot buffet breakfast or special two-course lunch (with a beer or wine on arrival) in the stunning Meerkat Bistro.* Breakfast is a hot buffet breakfast, served with tea, coffee and juice served throughout. Lunch includes Chef's choice canapes followed by 16 hour braised blade of beef with an onion puree, sides, duck fat potatoes and cauliflower cheese.To finish, sticky date pudding with a salted caramel sauce. On arrival a beer and or a glass of wine will be served then alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the bar. The children's menu consists of battered whiting & chips with a side salad and vanilla ice-cream with toppings.Soft drinks, juice, coffee and tea are included in the package and served throughout.As you enjoy your delicious family meal, you can watch the cheeky meerkats. Following the leisurely breakfast or special two-course lunch , the whole family will jump on board a unique safari bus and get up close and personal to some of the world's most endangered species.Travel through beautiful arid landscapes and the savannah and spot the critically endangered Przewalski's Horse and majestic Giraffes traversing through the grasslands. You may also come across Bisons, Addaxes, Rhinos and Zebras.This 40-minute Safari Tour is one of the Zoo's most popular experiences and is sure to be a memorable experience for the whole family. As part of the Father's Day fun, there will also be amazing prizes up for grabs, including a brand new BBQ!
