Go wild on Father's Day! A special day, jam-packed with action and adventure, and it's all happening at Australia Zoo! Gather the important men in your life and treat them to an extraordinary day of fun, wild animals and friendly competition - this is what memories are made of …. check out below the exciting happenings at Australia Zoo.

Australia Zoo Father's Day Challenge

Does Dad lean towards being a lean, mean fighting machine? Then why not coax him into competing in Australia Zoo Father's Day Challenge. Dads will take on the giant inflatable obstacle course and be in the draw to win an OzTent RV5 worth $1399 - sounds like a win-win to me!



Dads must sign up for the Father's Day Challenge before 10.00am at Admissions at Australia Zoo; or at the Information Desk after 10.00am. There are limited spots for this event, so early sign-on is recommended.

The obstacle course race commences at 12.30pm.

C'mon Dads and Granddads too, you've got to be in it, to win it!

Bindi and Chandler Feed The Crocs

Catch the romantic couple, Bindi and Chandler at 12.00noon, feeding the crocs at the Wildlife Warrior Show. Learn about croc safety and perhaps an 'appreciation' - yeah right - of Australia's apex predator!



FREE Mrs Mac's Pie For All Dads

Mrs Mac's invites all dads to enjoy a totally decadent, delicious FREE pie on them. FREE pies are limited to one pie per dad and while supplies last. So, early bird dads are assured of 'a slice of the pie'!



Hands-on Reptile Presentation

Ok, I will definitely give this one a miss! But, if you have ever wanted to touch a snake or feel a lizard, then the hands-on reptile presentation is for you!

Learn about the scaly, slithery reptiles from the reptile team and have the opportunity to meet some of these slitheries face to face.



Koala Throwing Competition

First and foremost - please note that NO KOALAS were hurt during the making of this competition!

Australia Zoo's annual Koala Throwing Competition is a fun Aussie game that challenges entrants' ability to throw plush toys! Bring your dad and join in the fun at 10.30am for an extra opportunity to win a prize!
