Father's Day Fun
Father's Day is a special day. It should be fun for all and a time for all dads to be treated to some fun time with their kids (and Mrs if they like).

As we are fast approaching Father's Da,y I thought I'd see what Melbourne has to offer for Dads over the coming couple if weeks.

Cerberus Beach House , sea view , restaurant

Cerberus Beach House Restaurant
Father's Day weekday special lunch
Cerberus continue to offer their smashing deal of two course for $29 or three for $39 weekdays through September. Why not treat Dad to a stunning bayside walk and divine food with sea views and a glass of wine or two.

Melbourne BeerFest
Whilst this is not until the 28 November, why not show your day that all of the family can enjoy a beer Fest and treat him to tickets to the day out. Scoupon have a great deal at the moment of $18 per ticket. It's a family friendly event so great for a family day out!

Lion king , Father's Day , treat , theatre
Last few weeks of Lion King in Melbourne

The Lion King
A true classic musical which is a heart warming experience to be shared with loved ones. This show will be leaving Melbourne soon, so why not take dad to see this musical extravaganza before it's too late!

Puffing billy , steam train , family , day , fathers
Puffing Billy Steam Train Ride

The Puffing Billy Steam Train
Treat your dad to excitement and fun of stepping back in time and enjoying the journey from Belgrave up to Lakeside on the Puffing Billy Steam train. He can even join in with the kids and sit and dangle his legs out of the carriages as the train winds its way through the trees. Pack a picnic to eat on the way - enjoy a leisurely walk around the beautiful lakes in lakeside then hop back on he steam train home. A fun packed day for all the family

Otherwise make him brekkie in bed, let him read the newspaper then grab a footy, a picnic, and head to the beach or a local park and enjoy time with your dad and show him you love him.

Your Comment
My step son took his father (in his sixties) and I on Puffing Billy for Father's Day last year and it was a fantastic day. You are never too old. We had lunch at Emerald Park, walked around the lake and beutiful surrounds. There was so much wildlife - kookaburras and swamphens were plentiful. I reccommend it to anybody.
