Calling Every Dad and His Dog
Sunday 1 September is Father's Day, and what better way to celebrate than with the whole family, including four legged fur-babies at beautiful Rippon Lea Estate.

Father's and Dog's Day Out promises to be a great day out for every Dad and his dog - and the rest of the family are welcome too.

Dads can attend a workshops, browse amongst a variety of stalls, grab a showbag and maybe enter Fido in the inaugural 'best in show' doggy competition. There will also be dog training demonstrations.

Pack a picnic and take a walk along the garden paths set amongst the 14 acres of beautiful gardens that lead to the majestic Rippon Lea Mansion. Pick a spot, maybe beside the gorgeous lake, spread out your favourite picnic rug and goodies and enjoy the day. Alternatively, the Rotary Club of Glen Eira will be holding a sausage sizzle and the Gatehouse Tea Room will be open with a range of food, hot and cold drinks.

That's a bit different but a great idea since dogs are very much part of the family
