Help celebrate the Treasury Casino and Hotel's Fat Noodle Restaurant's second birthday and experience the very best of authentic Asian cuisine. From Friday, 12 December and continuing on every evening until Wednesday, 31 December a special menu featuring caramelised pork belly with quail eggs and a dessert of Pandan Crème Brûlée for just $17 is being served.

Over the two years since opening day, Fat Noodle in Brisbane, has focused its menu on combining traditional Asian influences with the very best of fresh Australian produce creating a wonderful fusion of Vietnamese, Chinese, Malay and Thai cuisines. In the process several startling signature dishes have been produced including the amazing thinly sliced Angus sirloin and brisket, bean sprouts, fresh Thai basil, fresh chilli and rice noodles that wows diners seven days and nights a week.

One thing is certain, you will not be served an ordinary bowl of noodles when you dine at Fat Noodles. Sure, you are going to be served up rice and noodles but they will be forming part of a fantastic pho, or as abalone congee, soft-shell crab and rice paper rolls or wok fried dishes like cubed Angus beef with black pepper and garlic (excuse me while I wipe the drool from my keyboard).

The restaurant's owner, Luke Nguyen, best known as the host of the television series 'Luke Nguyen's Vietnam' and 'Luke Nguyen's France' also owns Sydney's award-winning Red Lantern restaurant and the original Fat Noodle restaurant at The Star casino in Sydney explains, "The spirit of Fat Noodle is warm and inviting; we love making our guests feel comfortable and able to try Vietnamese food like they've not seen it before, so to celebrate the two-year mark of success is hugely exciting."

Fat Noodle Restaurant is open seven days a week:
Sunday to Thursday: from 11.30am until 11.00pm; and
Friday and Saturday: from 11.30am until 12.00 midnight.
