The biggest burgers in town
Burger fit for a giant appetite
Fat Chef is a delicious and trendy restaurant and cafe located near IGA on Frankston-Dandenong Road, Carrum Downs. We had seen many advertisements for the place, so finally decided to call in for a meal and we were certainly not disappointed.
The staff at this restaurant are really lovely and energetic, the bar staff are happy to have a chat and have an impressive range of alcoholic drinks and cocktails available. I was impressed to find out that they do happy hour seven days a week between 4pm and 6pm. Some brands they have on tap are Furphys, Heineken and Carlton.
When we had a look at the menu, we couldn't believe how much choice we had to choose from, with so many delicious sounding items on the list, my partner ended up choosing the Fat Chef burger which was a huge stacked up burger with beef patties, bacon, cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato and aioli.
I chose the chicken parmigiana with chips and salad and it tasted so good I would definitely order that again.
The restaurant itself was very comfortable and cosy, they had fire heaters for us patrons to keep warm which was toasty. We were even treated to awesome live music which is there every Friday night for some entertainment.
Overall, I think Fat Chef is a great restaurant and just what the town of Carrum Downs needs. We felt very welcomed here and would dine again in the future.
