Plenty of games of all different sorts to play here
Currently gearing up for a ride in October are the Flinders Automotive Solar team, otherwise known as FAST.

This team represents Flinders University in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. It willl be a night where you will be able to support the Flinders Automotive Solar Team hosted at BrainHackr. This is a board games cafe and the ticket sales will fundraise money for the modifications to their car, so that it will be competitive in the 2019 challenge.

BrainHackr is situated at 208 Prospect Road, Prospect, South Australia.

The tickets will cost $20 per person and this will get you a meal with a melt from the Holy Cheezus selection, a drink, and three hours of gaming time!

However, there are limited tickets - just 25 will be available so you will need to hurry and get them while you can! This information was correct on 21st March 2019. They must receive payment for your reserved ticket by 1st July 2019. Further opportunities like door prizes and silent auctions will be held throughout the night.

More information will be released closer to the date of the event. You can purchase tickets from them in person or arrange a bank transfer by messaging their Facebook page for their bank deposit details. Look in the comment section of this event to see their office hours where you can come past to buy them in person. You could also arrange to drop past during the Tuesday night workshop which is located at Flinders at Tonsley.

About FAST
FAST is a multidisciplinary collaboration of students from Flinders University in South Australia.

During the past few years FAST has worked to develop a solar car which was entered into the Cruiser Class category of the 2017 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

This year, FAST are continuing their design improvements and manufacturing new components required to be competitive in the 2019 challenge.

Their team and Flinders University follow a long tradition of renewable energy research during their times at doing this. The solar car is an example as it gives further opportunity for the university to investigate this solar cell technology by providing experience for the whole team and for the students of Flinders.

As well as this, FAST supports student thesis projects and they provide a place for students to actually test their theories, ideas and innovations. Their participation in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge will allowgood interaction with some of the other university teams and other academic people from all around the world, including here in Australia.

The BrainHackr Shop
This firm has a massive range of board and card games, mindfulness tools, educational toys and more!

This started out as a simple online self-development blog, and BrainHackr has grown to become a one-stop source for party games, brain teasers, puzzles, board games, unique gifts, mindfulness tools and more.

In 2017, BrainHackr opened its first brick and mortar store in Prospect, SA. The store was a huge success and this led to continual development and expansion with half of the site being dedicated to a Board Game Cafe and Bar in 2018.

In turn, this led to the opening of Holey Cheezus: Grilled Cheese Co within the shop to provide patrons with delicious grilled cheese's to go with their gaming time!

You can check out their shop at their Facebook link.
