Fast Eddys takes its name from the character Eddie Felson in the film, The Hustler. Fast Eddys, Morley is an impressive building with oodles of old signs and other memorabilia decorating much of the walls.

It is a family friendly cafe, and was one of the first hamburger franchises in Perth some 45 years ago, and still operates several restaurants around Perth. Morley is a two storey building with an outside verandah eating area, though on this occasion it was not warm enough to sit there.

Morley opens early and stays open till around 11 pm daily. The takeaway is less expensive than the sit down restaurant, with similar food, and is at the side of the building.

On this occasion we went there for brunch and with a menu that is all day, I was pleased that they had a separate children's menu available.

I chose the smoked salmon hollandaise which was two fried eggs on crusty toast, with lashings of salmon, and hollandaise sauce. This also came with two hash browns and a small orange juice and was priced at $20. The meal was quite good apart from the hash browns which were rather oily and I believe, not home made.

My grandson chose from the ample kids menu, and he chose the super dog and chips priced at $6.50.

Their desserts are particularly interesting, though we obviously did not have these this time.

There is ample parking outside, and the service was fast and friendly, while the atmosphere is great with the memorabilia all over the restaurant.
