If you are interested in fashion design as a career option or hobby, consider the upcoming Fashion Illustration Workshop presented by Whitehouse Institute of Design Australia.
This comprehensive two-day workshop is a recommended starting point for those wishing to develop their illustration skills and will explore a range of fundamental fashion drawing techniques.
Under the guidance of a friendly facilitator, students will gain an understanding of the fashion figure on paper, experiment with different materials and learn techniques for presenting their creative ideas.
There will be a particular focus on the freehand sketching of human figures and faces and the illustration of garments. With these skills, students can successfully compile a portfolio which they can use to pursue further studies in fashion.
No experience is required and all are welcome to participate in this workshop which will run on the 11th and 12th December 2016 from 10am to 3.30pm.
The venue is yet to be determined, but it will be in the Perth CBD.
Places are limited and bookings are now open: click here to reserve your place. The participation fee is $230pp (plus booking fee).
