This is an upcycle workshop which encourages children to bring an old (but clean) white cotton garment (t-shirt, socks, singlet etc) and give it a new life using the colourful craft of tie-dye. Kids will learn tying techniques and application of dyes.

Street Style T-Shirt
This is a class that will introduce children to the world of street style, encouraging them to design and create their own unique t-shirt. The teacher will present lots of examples, although students are also encouraged to bring in magazine pages for inspiration. Students will use their new fashion techniques to take home a unique personalised t-shirt, completely designed and embellished themselves using fabric spray paint, pens, crayons, stencils and more.

In a quick and easy tutorial, students will go home with their own hand-made tutu; a great addition to a dress-up box. There will also be the opportunity to make a matching version for a doll or teddy bear.
