Farnborough Beach
Farnborough beach Yeppoon stretches for seventeen glorious kilometres along the Capricorn Coast. With plenty of access from along Farnborough Road and 4WD beach access at Bangalee, Farnborough is a popular beach for walking, swimming, fishing and surfing. Dog owners love Farnborough for its off-leash area from the Bangalee boat ramp onwards to Barwell Creek and well behaved dogs are welcome to run, splash and socialise with their doggy friends.

Yeppoon Rotary Park playground is next to the beach, along with toilets, shade, tables and chairs and barbecues.

Farnborough Beach is a beautiful place to visit, but swimmers need to be aware that Box and Irukanji jellyfish can be found in the warm waters of the Coral Sea, particularly during the summer months and people are advised to educate themselves on what to do if stung.
Back on dry land, there is a caravan park running parallel with Farnborough Beach and at the southern end, an accommodation resort although this is well set back, with only access tracks leading to the beach.

A beautiful spot for a caravan park!
If unspoilt beaches with sweeping views of the Coral Sea are your idea of paradise, then Farnborough Beach is the place for you. Just a couple of minutes' drive from Yeppoon town, or an easy stroll across the sand at low tide, or along the footpath by the road, Farnborough is one of the Capricorn Coast's most beautiful beaches. Enjoy!
