Enjoy these farmers markets that are loaded with fresh, organic and delicious produce and delights.
1. Slow Food Melbourne Farmers' Market
When: 4 Saturday of the Month: 8am-1pm
Where: Abbotsford Covent, St Heliers Street, Abbotsford
Details: These markets are all about fresh, nourishing and delicious seasonal foods, with no gases, no cold storage, no over processed chemical laden foods and no GMO's! The markets include seasonal, organic fruit & vegetables, free range foods, rare breed and heritage meats, fish, chicken, eggs, handmade cheeses, pasta, condiments, breads, honey, olive oils, flowers & seedlings, and food stalls to sit back and relax.
2. Fairfield Farmers' Market
When: 3rd Saturday of the Month: 8am-1pm
Where: Fairfield Primary School, Wingrove St, Fairfield
Details: There is a gold coin donation. This donation supports school projects. The markets consist of growers of free range pork, beef, lamb, goat, chicken and eggs, fruit & vegetables, milk straight from the farm, handmade cheeses, honey, olive oil, nuts seedlings and plenty more...
3. The Coburg Farmers' Markets
When: 2nd & 4th Saturday of the Month: 8am-1pm
Where: Coburg North Primary School, 180 O'Hea St, Coburg
Details: Gold coin donation, which goes to supporting school projects. You can pick up your fresh produce at these markets, with an array of fruit & vegetables, nuts & oils, meats, eggs, breads, cheeses, chickens, cakes, sweets, pies, wines & cider and plenty more goodies. You do need to bring your own bags as the markets are plastic bag free. There is a big central playground for the kids!
4. Werribee Central Farmers' Market
When: 4th Saturday of the Month: 8am-1pm
Where: Kelly Park, Synnot St, Werribee
Details: You will find plenty of wonderful local and fresh produce at these markets, some of the produce / products include free range beef & lamb, fruit & vegetables, olive oils, gluten free goodies, jams, relishes, breads, boutique beer, plenty more gastronomically pleasing delights and for all the green thumbs you will be impressed with the variety of native plants & herbs available... There are also food stalls, crafts, live music and activities.
5. Bendigo Community Farmers Market
When: 2nd Saturday of the Month: 9am-1pm
Where: Rosalind Park end of Williamson St, Bendigo
Details: You will find plenty of fresh and organic fruit & vegetables, cheeses, beef, pastries including pies, olive oils, coffee, deli items, pates, puddings, homemade food goodies such as quiches, spring rolls, dumplings etc, and plenty more delights and fresh produce.
6. Boroondara Farmers Market
When: 3rd Saturday of the Month: 8am-12:30pm
Where: Patterson Reserve, Auburn Rd, East Hawthorn
Details: These markets sell produce from all around Victoria. You can find fresh fruit & vegetables, seasonal organic produce, meat, herbs, honey, eggs, breads, olives, cakes, dips & sauces, wine & beer and plenty more fresh produce and goodies. There is a $2 entry fee.

7. Croydon Farmers' Market**
When: 2nd Saturday of the Month: 8am-1pm
Where: Croydon Park, Hewish Rd, Croydon
Details: These markets consist of fresh fruit & vegetables, cheeses, olive oils, meats, dairy products, honey, seasonal organic produce and plenty more stalls selling fresh produce.
8. Elwood Farmers' Market
When: 2nd Saturday of the Month: 8:30am-1pm
Where: Elwood College, 101 Glenhuntley Rd, Elwood
Details: You will find fruit & vegetables, meats: pork, beef, farm sausages, lamb, oils, eggs, baked goodies, cheese & dairy products, pasta, speciality items, beverages, ready to eat meals. There is BBQ breakfast, Gozlemi and sausage sizzle to start your morning before you get shopping!
9. Flemington Farmers Market
When: Every Sunday of the Month: 9am-1pm
Where: Mount Alexander College, 175 Mt Alexander Rd, Flemington
Details: You will find fresh fruit & vegetables, meats, pasta, eggs, meats, honey, oils, fruit & nuts, baked goods including breads, dairy, dips, speciality foods such as smoked goods, jams, preserves, cocoa products and plenty more, nuts, seedlings, flowers, beer & wine and of course ready to eat goodies...
10. Fitzroy Street Farmers' Market
When: 4th Saturday of the Month: 8:30am-1pm
Where: Cnr Fitzroy St & Lakeside Dr, St Kilda
Details: There is plenty of fresh and organic produce at these markets, including leafy greens, fruits, jams & chutneys, baked cakes, breads, macaroons, fresh fruit juice, goat, pork, dry aged beef, lamb and fresh seafood. There is also an array of beverages such as coffee, chai, Probiotic juices and plenty more...
