Some pickings at Loewen Gardens

Since moving back to Singapore, I had been on the hunt for a good Western brunch spot to go to on a weekend. It was elusive but I have just found out about the Farmer's Market at Loewen Gardens.

Held fortnightly, the market will be on every first and third Saturday between 9am to 2pm.

The stalls includes:
Organic vegetables
Homemade pastas and sauces
Wines and boutique beers
Confectionery by excellent small bakers like Red Chocolate.

cakes, scones, muffins, breakfast, singapore
Some of the treats

Its going to be great for folks with children. There is a trampoline and playground just for them.

Getting there...
1) Drive in via Dempsey Road, and follow instructions to Loewen Cluster.
2) Turn into Ridley Park Road (from Tanglin Road). Go past the black and white colonial houses on your left. Enter Tanglin Village and Loewen Road. The first building to your right will be Loewen Gardens.
