Farming Champions - supported by Lottery West, City of Fremantle, The Loose Leaf Lettuce Co, Country Wide Insurance Brokers, Agora Property Group, Water Corporation and Royal Agricultural Society of WA - is hosting the annual Farmer on Your Plate event on Saturday 26 October 2024.

This year's Farmer on Your Plate is held at Esplanade Reserve, Marine Terrace, Fremantle from 9 am to 3 pm and showcases farm-fresh produce sourced directly from WA family farmers.

The jam-packed 2024 event agenda will include interactive cooking demonstrations by Perth's top chefs and informative educational presentations by WA farmers and industry professionals. Highlighted WA exhibitors include Australian Black Limes, Matters of Taste, Swan Valley Distillery, Lake Janis Farm, Australian Bee Company, Cambinata Yabbies, Millers Foods, Mias Bakery, Churchview Estate, The Natural Circle, Devoted Artisan Butter, Down2Earth Gardening, OMG! Decadent Donuts, RegenWA, Vergone's Fruit Stall and Belvedere Valley.

PLUS for a gold coin donation, you can enjoy amazing Chef-created sample dishes from some of Perth's top chefs Don Hancey - WA's Food Ambassador, Vince Garreffa founder of Perth's Mondo Butchers, Tracey Cotterall from Matters of Taste, Peter Manifis - The Fish Whisperer, Vincenzo Velletri from Slow Food and Craig Hicks from The Art of Seafood.

Little ones can also cuddle an animal in the animal nursery and enjoy live family-friendly entertainment.

Get your kids involved in the colouring-in competition! Simply download the colouring-in form for your chance to win a voucher from Meraki Boho for a kid 'n' canvas booking. The completed entry can be handed to the volunteers at the Farming Champions tent on event day Saturday 26 October by 2 pm. Otherwise, you can submit it by emailing a copy to [email protected] by Thursday 24 October.

This is a free entry competition for anyone up to the age of 17. The winners will be announced on event day at 2:45 pm and contacted via phone to organise the prize.

There will also be raffles with great prizes up for grabs!

With so much to see and explore, Farmer on Your Plate is expected to attract thousands of visitors.
