Shaun the Sheep has won a number of hearts with his quirky way on Mossy Bottom Farm. Possibly the smartest sheep around, Shaun the sheep knows how to keep everyone entertained. However, when an alien lands in the neighbourhood, things become a little interesting.



Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary will be hosting a Charity Screening of A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary can be found in Mount Helena. Their goal is to prevent, or relieve, the suffering of native and 'farm' animals. If you venture over to their Facebook page , you can witness their hard work which they have invested into our furry friends.

Anyone who has owned an animal will know that they need TLC (Tender Loving Care), food and a 'roof over their heads'. Unfortunately, not everyone sees animals as 'part of the family'. The law, unfortunately, labels animals as property which has led to a number of horrible acts of cruelty.



A place like Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary needs all the help it can get. Keeping a sanctuary is costly and funds will help Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary to continue to offer a loving home to animals which are in desperate need of one. Purchasing a ticket to see a extremely funny movie, will help this amazing place raise funds to keep their gates open for our furry friends in need.

This event will be held at Ace Cinema in Midland on 11 January from 1:50 pm to 3:30 pm. There is ample parking. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $14.00 for a child.

Start a decade and a new year on a good note by supporting a worthy cause. As Shaun the Sheep will say: "It is a baaa-rilliant way to start a year!"
