Just what the doctor ordered
Looking for a twist on your dessert experience?
On our way back to Australia, we spent a few days in Makati to have a bit of a mini-holiday before getting back to wind and grind to come. Knowing my love of ice cream, my best friend took us to one of the newest places to hit BGC (Bonifacio Global City) and I couldn't have enjoyed my last night more!
A delicious trip to classic Americana is just what Farmacy gives you!
Farmacy is a soda fountain and homemade ice cream spin-off shop. A throwback to the late 1800s and early 1900s US, when people thought that carbonated water was a cure-all and when soda made its way into pop culture, this store is more than just an ice creamery.
The experience starts as soon as you enter the doors of Farmacy. The saloon style shop front, music playing over old style radios, bar stools and counter tops fit in perfecting with the soda fountains of yesteryear. The ambiance, designed by Lara Fernandez-Barrios, elevates the experience of eating ice cream and desserts.
Wide selections of Ice Creams are available at Farmacy, but not all are available at the same time. The flavours on the board with the white dots are the ones that are available on that day. This vintage-style shop offers a wide variety of delicious treats from homemade icecream made right there in front of you to specially crafted softdrinks and beers.
If you're an ice cream lover too, next time you're in Manila, make sure to fit in Farmacy as one of your must go-to and must try places to go!
You have to try their chocolate chip icecream sandwhich with Vanilla mint iceacream! It is soooo good!
