Make the most of your last ride

The Sydney Monorail was first conceived in the late 1980's to provide a link between Darling Harbour and Sydney CBD.

It works as a single-loop that connect Darling Harbour, Chinatown and Sydney Central Business District. There are eight stations on the 3.6 kilometres of track. It serves major attractions and facilities such as the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

From up there, you can enjoy amazing views of the city as well as the best sunsets if you jump in when the sun comes down.

Now, The Sydney Monorail is shutting down operations, for good.

No matter if you are a local or a tourist, if you are in Sydney don't miss the opportunity and enjoy a ride before June 30th 2013. If you go one day after, it will be history!

Make the most of your last visit with a Monorail Day Pass. From only $9.80, it includes unlimited travel plus discounts at Sydney's best attractions.

Bye bye Sydney Monorail... we will miss you!

Your Comment
I remember it being built & was excited. However it turned out to be a waste of tax payers money. Why not spend a bit more on it & make it go somewhere useful, instead it'll probably sit there proving its fail
