If you're a sucker for succulents and nature-inspired goodies or know someone who is, there are multiple exciting gift ideas to explore. And with Christmas just around the corner, it's the perfect excuse to start shopping for inspiration! Recently, I talked about the positive effects of getting outdoors with nature . But even the smallest nature-inspired details can offer proven benefits of reduced stress levels and boosted moods. Thus, every nature lover deserves to have something that makes them feel closer to its beauty and positive power, whether they're outside or not. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

1. Vine-Inspired Lighting

If you want to bring nature indoors, vine-inspired lighting is a low-maintenance way to enhance the home's design. These photosynthesis lamps are designed to naturally illuminate your home (or office space) and incorporates a plant to offer that nature-inspired touch. Whilst they're the ideal home for almost any inside plant, vines work best as they grow around the lampshade to provide lush coverage.

The original photosynthesis lamp sits inside a traditional frame with a welded hole for the potted plant to sit in. As the plant grows, it creeps around the frame to display a unique and exquisite décor option. The plant can be changed to suit your home's interior design and mixed up depending on the season or mood you're in! Just make sure to use a LED bulb to avoid damaging the plant.

2. Hanging Terrarium | Living Succulent Frame

If shades of green run in your blood, then you can't go wrong with a hanging terrarium. The miniature indoor gardens brighten up any space and a perfect for nature-lovers that aren't up for to the task of maintaining a plant. Because not every nature lover has a green thumb! The great thing about terrariums, besides their visual appeal and how easy they are to care for, is the endless variety of styles

Succulents naturally thrive well in terrariums because they're hardy and require little space. You can purchase succulent pots or jelly bowls, which can be designed in a similar way to glass terrariums. Living succulent frames are fantastic for the nature-lover with a little more space. You can try Etsy to score some in Western Australia or check Pinterest to get creative and make one yourself. These succulent frames have a similar appearance to vertical gardens and look incredible inside or outside.

3. Water Garden Fish Tank

These are FUN! Water garden fish tanks give a whole new charm to your standard fish bowls, adding a touch of nature to any dull-looking space. You can purchase them online from Fluid Growers to get your own space-saving ecosystem. Because of their size, they are best suited for Siamese fighting fish because of their vibrant colours and ability to live in smaller homes. Make sure you only stick to the one (small) fish for the water garden tank though, so they stay happy and healthy for longer.

4. OASIS Planters

If you or your nature-loving human needs some greenery in a space, these beautifully-designed OASIS planters are the perfect solution. They're best suited for air plants, succulents and creepers and come in a series of options to attach to the wall, hang on a stand or setup on your desk. Like terrariums and succulent pots, they're super easy to look after and hardy to survive inside. Consider sprucing up your office workspace or any other location that lacks natural light with them.

The best part about these gifts is the moveable, magnetic pots they come in. You have the freedom to mix up how they're displayed, and it makes it easier to look after come watering time.

5. Swim with Wild Dolphins | Killer Whale Expedition

Sometimes the best gift ideas come in the form of an experience. Sure, you won't be able to display a nature-loving goodie in your space, but you'll have the memory of the adventure for years to come! And for many of us, this in itself is invaluable. Lucky for us, Western Australia is home to some breathtaking locations to soak up all the wonders nature has to offer. Just follow the coastline and you have a world of opportunities at your fingertips.

Two experiences worth adding to the bucket list are swimming with wild dolphins and a killer whale extravaganza. Red Balloon is the ultimate experience site and when the season permits (summertime, baby!) you can head to Bunbury to meet the local dolphins or watch the wild Orcas do their thing. You can't get much closer to nature than that!
