Hold on to your wands and get ready to be spellbound by the enchanting creatures of the Wizarding World! A truly magical exhibition has been conjured up by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and the Natural History Museum London.

This exhibition is not your typical muggle affair, as it delves deep into the fascinating links between the creatures of the magical world and their counterparts in our natural world. You'll be able to admire the dazzling abilities of these creatures and learn about their shared behaviours that allow them to attract and escape.

Expect to see an array of specimens and artefacts from London's Natural History Museum's world-class scientific collections, alongside some bewitching custom-made models from the Wizarding World. Not to mention original artworks from Bloomsbury Publishing and some of the most iconic props from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series.

But it's not all magic and wonder, as this exhibition also celebrates the real-world scientists who, like Newt Scamander, strive to understand and protect our planet's extraordinary creatures. So, grab your broomsticks and make your way to this extraordinary exhibition where you'll be able to experience the magic of both the wizarding and natural world in one place!

Did you know that Melbourne Museum has one of only two IMAX theatres in Melbourne? Save big on IMAX documentary tickets when you purchase tickets to the Melbourne Museum. Adults can enjoy an $8 discount, while seniors save $5!

Before you head to the IMAX theatre, take a stroll through the Gandel Gondwana Garden, where you can explore a prehistoric world that has been lost to ice. And once you've had your fill of prehistoric flora, head to the IMAX theatre for an experience of a lifetime. Gondwana is the name of a supercontinent that is said to have existed during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras. It was made up of what are now the continents of South America, Africa, Antarctica, Australia, the Indian subcontinent and parts of the Arabian Peninsula. Gondwana began to break up during the Jurassic period, and by the end of the Cretaceous period, it had completely fragmented into the continents we know today. The Gandel Gondwana Garden at Melbourne Museum is a botanical garden that showcases the prehistoric flora that once existed on this ancient supercontinent.

Get ready to witness the majestic and terrifying creatures that once roamed Antarctica in the immersive 3D documentary, Dinosaurs of Antarctica. Follow a team of paleoecologists (scientists who study the relationship between ancient organisms and their environment) as they uncover the hidden, greener past of this icy continent. This captivating documentary will take you on a journey through a prehistoric Gondwana, leaving you in awe of these fascinating and fearsome creatures. So, grab your tickets now and get ready to be transported back in time!
