Markets are a great weekend activity rain or shine. Here are the top 5 fantastic indoor markets that are also accessible.

1. Swan Settlers Market - Located at 124 Lennard Street, Herne Hill. Park in the disabled parking right outside the front entrance and you are greeted with a spacious flat entry to the Swan Settlers Market. Wheel inside to find various stalls selling preserves, antiques, art, dog treats and cupcakes. Then wheel your way to the food court where you will find food delights for even the fussiest foodie. Stay for a while and enjoy the live music. A disabled bathroom is found just to the side of the food court.

2. Malaga Markets - Located at 7 Bonner Drive, Malaga. Ample disabled parking outside every entry. Wheel inside and find stalls selling, clothes, jewellery, shoes, incense and you can even do your fruit and vegetable shopping. Finish your shopping then visit the food court to find delicious food from all over the world and a bar for those who want a sneaky drink. Dessert is an easy choice with ice cream, cake, doughnuts whatever your heart desires. A couple of disabled bathrooms can be found throughout the market.

3. E Shed Markets - Located at E Shed Victoria Quay, Fremantle. Ample disabled parking around the outside of the markets, wheel inside to find a multitude of stores selling everything from clothes, antiques to plants. A disabled bathroom can be found inside the markets. Head outside and find live music and foodie options from all over the world. Food court inside as well as outside and finish off your day at the markets with an ice cream.

4. Wanneroo Markets - Located at 33 Prindiville Drive, Wangara. A couple of disabled parking bays, wheel inside to find a music store, art, incense and you can even get a haircut. Disabled bathrooms can be found just outside the food court. There are food options to delight everyone's taste buds from Kebabs to plant-based food.

5. Fremantle Markets - Located at South Terrace and Henderson Street, Fremantle. Multiple disabled parking bays are found outside the markets. Wheel inside to find homeware, Candles and jewellery. Disabled toilets found inside the market. Smell the food in the air with multiple foodie choices from gozleme, curry and fresh hot doughnuts.

EShed Markets also has a disability disco every Friday night in the food court from 5pm to 8pm. It’s been going for approximately 20 years
