Situated on Syagogue Street (just off Rundle street, next to Apple Bar) is the widely popular Fancy Burger. After wanting to go here for months, the opportunity came and how could I not take it.. I mean burgers on a Saturday night, what else could you want.
You walk through the doors and it's a small, cute, little, quirky place, you place your order at the counter, take your trophy award table number (yes they even personalized the boring old table number) and sit either inside or outside in your own booth.
We of course choose to sit outside, in one of the ultra cute booths. If memory serves me right, they have four booths to choose from, a grass one, a graffiti one, the frame booth which us girls choose and a vintage booth. Each booth has two tables and is large enough for 6 or so people. It also plays funky music to add to the experience.

If you choose to sit outside, pick one of these, it really does add to the whole experience.

We had to choose the frame one, how cute is it?
Now to the food, they have a variety of options, beef, chicken, lamb, mini burgers and even vegetarian, along with chips and sauces.
Check out their
menu.
I choose the hot chicky, which was delightful, along with a small serve of fries and I must say being a chip lover, THESE CHIPS ARE AMAZING. They are almost on the boundary of being wedges, they are large, crispy but soft on the inside, with a couple of those super crispy ones in the bag to devour on and I have to say these are some of the best chips in Adelaide. I also brought the tomato relish to go on the side but it was very disappointing to open it and realize that really it's only tinned tomatoes with some onions added to the mix.

Hot chicky at the front- $11.50. Vegie patch behind it- $10.90. Small fries-$2.90 each and sauces- $1.50 each
The burger itself, is enormous and juicy, The chicken was cooked perfectly and the bread here is amazing. But don't be surprised to find some charcoaled bits. If you are not very hungry I DEFINITELY SUGGEST SHARING THESE BURGERS WITH SOMEONE ELSE (I swear they use a whole chicken breast in these burgers, they are so big). So they are so worth the money, if you are feeling like a good, filling dinner but don't want to spend a lot of cash, give Fancy Burger a go.
Overall, the service is really good, the food is great and the ambience is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.
