Famished on Frasers
This great little cafe is hidden away behind Dorrington Park in leafy Ashgrove. With indoor and outdoor seating spilling onto the footpath and even the verandah next door, there are plenty corners to quietly sip your Brisbane-brewed Elixir coffee and ponder the colourful artworks dotted around the place. We chose to sit at a cute table with a red and white checked tablecloth on the verandah and watched the suburban world roll by.

An excellent Steak Sandwich
For the sweet tooth, Head Chef, Jason Booth bakes a selection of cakes and muffins daily (those raspberry and white chocolate muffins did look very tempting), with many other gourmet treats on the seasonal menu for lunch and dinner. I must say, I really enjoyed every mouthful my steak sandwich with haloumi and salad - the best I've had for a long while, and the kids slurped all their milkshakes to the last drop.

Famished on Frasers
Famished on Frasers draws quite a number of parents with hungry children, owing to the fantastic
Enchanted Forest Playground right down the driveway immediately to its north/east. After a rigorous run around the playground, I highly recommend stopping in here for some child friendly refreshments. They are also very dog friendly, with water bowls for your beloved canine to sip while you dine.
