Looking to do something fun, interactive and free with the family? Why not head down to ACMI at Federation Square and get your kids to get hands on with a host of activities and workshops happening the first Sunday of every month from now till November!

Get your Game on with AFL footy, kids learn to create stop motion with lego footy players. They set up each frame and then get a chance to preview and watch the stop motion animation once they have finished.

Or upstairs in the greenscreen studio, kids have the opportunity to star as a footy player and make their mark by kicking that goal! Hear the crowds roar as they celebrate your goal! This is so much fun for kids of all ages, so why not give it a go!

There is so much to do at these Free family Sundays! Make sure to book from one of the many workshops. Perfect for kids of all ages, from a journey through the moving image with themed days exploring everything from superheroes and Star Wars to fantasy, fables and gaming.

Dress up as your favourite character for a chance to win prizes at the costume competition.

Have your kids ever dreamed of becoming an astronaut? Well, they can train to become one on an international space station with ACMI's VR simulation.

For Wallace and Gromit fans, your chance to meet the founders of Aardman Studios and learn the secrets of stop-motion claymation.

Creative kids can craft their own comic books at the comic presentation corner and play a range of narrative video games in the Games lab.

No matter where their interests lie, there is something for everyone.
