Since opening on December 3rd, 2016, visitors have flocked to the Eagle to board the state-of-the-art gondola and glide to the scenic peak of the Mornington Peninsula.
Over two jam-packed days, you can enjoy a range of entertainment, including face painters, balloon artists, hilarious stilt walking acts, a live wedge-tailed eagle display, a roving T-Rex and music from local musicians.
"We've been busy all year with launching this fantastic new attraction, making it even better, and developing our team - and now we're ready to get this party started," said Chris Kearney, CEO of the Eagle.
"We also want to give something back to our local community - and what better way than a birthday present? For each way travelled over our birthday weekend we will donate $1 to the Disabled Surfers' Association Mornington Peninsula."
If you are lucky enough to share a birthday with the Eagle, they will say, 'Happy Birthday to you' with a free ride this weekend. Just bring some ID along to the ticket box.
About Arthurs Seat Eagle:
The Eagle is named after the Wedge-tailed Eagle, one of the most impressive sights in the skies above the Arthurs Seat State Park which can occasionally be spotted from the ride.
The gondola lets you enjoy an eagle eye's view within the safety and comfort of a contemporary gondola cabin as you travel from the Base Station in Dromana to the Summit Station at the top of Arthurs Seat.
The Eagle is found in Arthurs Seat State Park which is home to a diverse range of native animals including kangaroos, koalas, powerful owl and, of course, the Wedge-tailed Eagle.
The ride has 24 gondolas with each comfortably holding up to 8 guests to and from the Arthurs Seat Summit. The ride provides a 26-minute round trip.
The Eagle is wheelchair and pram friendly and caters for disabled, elderly and toddlers.
