Fun for a cause
Get your family ready this coming Saturday, 25th May, for a fun night out to remember at Aussie World. This is a fundraising event organised by PR students at the University of Sunshine Coast. All proceeds will go to AGL Action Rescue Helicopter – a vital Queensland rescue service that is community owned.
The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter serves 700,000 people across a 100,000 square kilometre region. Their imperative lifesaving work has helped the sick and injured since 1979. Their rescue teams are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They rely on community donations and sponsors to keep their mission going, every dollar makes a difference. With an aim to raise at least $10,000 from this event, the proceeds can make a big difference.
Aussie world is opening its gates for an evening at a special price with 50% off family passes. Your family will not only be able to enjoy all the rides, entertainment and food that the theme park has to offer, but there will also be a 'Monster' raffle with prizes ranging from attractions to holidays. In addition, an exclusive 'lion hunt' for those who pre-purchase tickets will be held. Once all five lions are found on the night, the child goes into a raffle to win their very own lion crew mascot.
Fun for big kids and little kids alike
It will truly be a great night that serves an important cause. You can pre-purchase tickets on the AGL website here.
Early evening and the Giant Redback Ride (one of the latest additions to the park) is in full spin - warning: not for the faint hearted
