Who doesn't love spending time with their family? If you are a little sick of being stuck at home with children who are screaming and need some stimulation, you may all benefit from spending a day at the Shelley Foreshore with some of the best activities for everyone to get involved in. Family Fun Day will be a hit with everyone, both young and old.
This is a day for your whole family. And that includes your four-legged furry friends. Yes, that's right. Dogs are not only welcome but encouraged to come along to the family fun day. In fact there is a puppy parade, which is going to be even cuter than it sounds. It would be the best part of any event, and if you bring your own pet, there will be a pet friendly photo booth. You can get a photo of your family with your pets, or just take photos of your pets instead if you like.
There are also other things to do that don't include pets if you don't want to spend some time with cute little puppies. You could try out stand-up paddle boarding, kids could try some of the sporting pop-ups or for the older kids, there will be an inflatable water obstacle course. Little children can try out the inflatable rainbow water mister. For those people who don't like sports or obstacle courses, there will be other crafting activities to enjoy.
This is a great day out for anyone who wants to spend time celebrating Australia Day without going into the city. Your day off is going to be a paw-fect day at the Shelley Foreshore Family Fun Day. Head there on Thursday, January 26th between 9am and 2pm. Make sure to spend lots of time in the presence of the cutest dogs on the day!
