WeekendNotes favourite, The Parkerville Tavern, is hosting a 'Family Fun Day' this November.Bring the family up to the hills for a lovely afternoon at The Parkerville Tavern. The friendly owners invite you and your family to enjoy the grounds, playground, new menu, music and more at their annual Family Fun Day. Come and experience everything this beautiful old tavern as to offer.This much loved family pub and restaurant is located in the heart of the Perth Hills. The double-storey federation style building has become a popular dining spot for families, couples and friends and is surrounded by a wooded valley, which boasts numerous walking and bike tracks - making it a great destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.On Saturday 28th November 2015, from 11am to 3pm, all are welcome to come down and join in the many festivities throughout the afternoon.Some of the highlights include a special live set from the impressive Adam Hall & The Velvet Playboys, an interactive Kids Jamming Session with an array of musical instruments and Magic Show with Hey Presto!Kids can also enjoy traditional activities such as Old MacDonald's Animal Farm, face-painting, playground, bouncy castle, fairy floss and much more.For lunch, children under 12 can enjoy a special meal deal; a wood fired pizza and ice cream for $15, while parents can opt for pub classics like Steak and Guinness Pie, Grilled/Battered Fish & Chips and Chicken Parmigiana or perhaps one of Sheridan's signature dishes! A range of vegetarian meals are available as well.
