On Australia Day, we celebrate all the things we love about Australia. There are some family-friendly events that you can attend for 2023 Australia Day in Rockhampton.

Australia Day Pool Party[/LINK]
Spending all day by the pool under Rockhampton's hot sun sounds like a great way to spend Australia Day with family and friends. FREE mini golf plus FREE fall slides for everyone at 42nd Battalion Memorial Pool . The minimum height requirement still applies for the slide. North Rockhampton Athletics Centre will also be there for their snag fundraisers BBQ.



Australia Day at Kershaw Gardens
This FREE family event will fill your afternoon with live music from local artists, entertainment and delicious food starting from 3.30pm.



Australia Day on the Lawn
FREE BBQ and FREE kids entertainment will be provided on Australia Day on the Lawn located at Stanwell Community Hall on 4 Marion Street, Stanwell, starting from 12 noon until 6pm. Why don't you try your luck in the Snag Eating Competition, Thong Throwing Competition or Bare Foot Bowls? RSVP is essential on 0409 264 548. No BYO at this event and drinks are available for purchase.

Australia Day BBQ and Bands at Great Western Hotel [/LINK]
Celebrate Australia Day at the Great Western Hotel with FREE Live Music by Revelry and Coighty, starting at 12 noon. Children will be entertained with a FREE Baby Animals petting zoo from 12 to 2pm. Book a table on telephone number (07) 4922 3888.



Australia Day @ The Rocky Sports Club
Enjoy some great Aussie Tucker Specials at The Rocky Sports Club with live music through the arvo. Try your hand in the Thong Throwing Competition and Mechanical Bull Challenge for All Ages - there are awesome prizes to win. Get the raffle ticket and fingers crossed that you will be the lucky one.
