Gold Coast Australia Day Celebrations
26 January, from 4pm, Broadwater Parklands
Families will love the JJ Richards 'Aussie Activities Zone' and 'Mini-Commonwealth-Games'. Browse through various food and drink vans, listen to live music and enjoy a fireworks display at 8pm.

Australia Day Pool Party
26 January, 11am-2pm, Gold Coast Aquatic Centre
The party will feature novelty races, inflatables, thong throwing and dive bomb competitions. There will also be a barbeque, live music and entertainment. Regular pool entry fees apply.
Australia Day Bash at NightQuarter
26 January, 4-10pm, NightQuarter
Enjoy all your favourite Australia treats and a great line-up of live entertainment. There will be plenty of fun for the children with dance parties, egg and spoon races, sack races and an Aussie treasure hunt.
Various themed activities for adults include cockroach races, thong and toilet paper roll throwing and lamington eating competitions. $3 entry / kids under 12 free
Australia Day - Norfolk Games

The second annual "Norfolk Games" will feature putt-putt golf, jumping castle and pool, dart and eating competitions.
Australia Day Celebrations
26 January, 8am-2pm, Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum
Enjoy some good old fashioned family fun with games, village damper, bush tea and a sausage sizzle. Wander through historical buildings and see what life was like for colonial families.
Australia Day Event 2019
