[b] 1. LAKE MONGER FESTIVAL[/b]
Celebrate the festive season with family and friends at the annual Christmas at Lake Monger Festival.

There will be an abundance of children's entertainment, rides and live musical performances throughout the night, with a traditional finale of Christmas Carols followed by the turning on of the Christmas Tree lights.

This Christmas tree is huge and I used to live opposite this fantastic wetland where you could see the tree from a long distance away.



Bring a picnic or enjoy a range of delicious dinner options from one of the many food trucks that will be parked there.

This event is part of the Town of Cambridge Summer of Fun 2017/2018 Programme and is FREE.

[b]2. BEELIAR'S FAMILY CHRISTMAS MOVIE NIGHT[/b]
The movie showing will be Arthur Christmas and this event is presented by Beeliar Community Voice - a residents association.

Come and enjoy a Christmas themed outdoor movie night with your family, friends and neighbours.



There will be activities starting at 6.30 pm, and the movie starts when the sun sets.

Also at this function, there will be entertainment and activities, food and drink, games, raffles and awards as well as an AYLA Food Drive, so bring a non-perishable item to donate!

[b]3. BINDOON CHRISTMAS NIGHT MARKET[/b]
These are night markets where you will get free tea, coffee, and drinks plus the chance to win a lucky door prize and all this is included in the $5 entry fee.



There will be over 35 stallholders here so this will be a great event and a good opportunity to get those unusual gifts.

[b]4. SANTAS CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL[/b]
You will have a magical day at Claremont Showgrounds if you attend this event!

There will be extraordinary amusements, electrifying rides and spectacular entertainment for all to enjoy.

This is Western Australia's biggest Christmas celebration filled with loads of exciting rides, activities and entertainment for all ages!

There is an entrance fee and this includes unlimited rides and entertainment all day long! Entertainment includes carnival rides, live entertainment and stage shows, extreme motocross stunt shows, face painting, animal farms, thrill rides, roving entertainers, a splash-tacular water playground and much more.

Then Santa will arrive on the main arena at 11:15 am and his arrival will be a spectacular one!

[b]5. JULMARKNAD CHRISTMAS MARKET[/b]
This is an annual Christmas Market hosted by the Swedish Club of WA.

Here you are sure to find some original Christmas gifts which will not be in all the shops!

A variety of vendors will be selling traditional Scandinavian foods, both imported and homemade, arts and crafts, books and much more.



There will also be a cafe which will be serving traditional Swedish Christmas specials.

The stall holders will all be indoors, but the Nicholson Reserve right in front of the venue provides lots of space to enjoy the sunshine while eating a freshly made saffron bun, sipping on some mulled wine and listening to classic Christmas songs, and entry is FREE.

[b]6. AN OUTBACK CHRISTMAS[/b]
This special new event sees Santa's workshop arrive down under.

Forrest Place will turn into a festive Australiana makeover for two weekends of outback Christmas crafting in a fun family atmosphere.

There will be real elves riding stuffed emus as well as cheeky Santa's helpers who will entertain and pose for photos among life-like Australian bush animals wearing their Christmas hats!

With plenty of activities until 4 pm in the Forrest Place Mall, children can make wind-chime gifts or a gum-nut tree ornament, decorate a Christmas cupcake, and even meet Santa himself!



The seating area remains open daily until 9 pm, and you are able to experience the magical bush Christmas setting as the sun sets.

After dark, you can enjoy this year's Christmas Projections on the GPO.

[b]7. SYMPHONY IN THE CITY[/b]
Join an audience of thousands for a magical night of music under the stars.

The West Australian Symphony Orchestra's annual outdoor concert is made free to the community by the City of Perth. This Concert will feature classical and movie soundtrack favourites performed with the WASO Chorus, under the direction of Guy Noble.

[b]8. FESTIVE FLICKS - CHRISTMAS[/b]
The perfect place for a family gathering, arrive early to nab your patch of grass or comfy beanbag, or BYO rug/low chairs.



Get some delicious items nearby for your festive picnic dinner and settle back to see the big screen light up with live action and animated Christmas adventures.

You will see Arthur Christmas (2011, PG) on Saturday 17 December and Elf (2003, PG) on Saturday 24 December.

[b]9. BAZAAR MARKETS[/b]
WA's best Christmas market returns on the first weekend in December.

This is an annual three-day shopping extravaganza which features more than 50 local artisans showcasing and selling their wares.

At Bazaar, you'll find unique WA-designed jewellery, fashion, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork, textiles and more.

The annual market runs from Friday night until Sunday afternoon and is the perfect place to pick up high quality, one-of-a-kind gifts for Christmas presents.



Entry fee is just $2 for Adults, and Kids Under 12 are FREE.
