There's Fun For Everyone At This Free Family Event
Spring-time is fun time at Byford on Sunday, September 22nd, at The Glades Family Festival. Based on many of the principles of sustainable living, The Glades is a master-planned village situated in Byford, at the foot of the Darling Scarp. Surrounded by picturesque countryside and close to nature, it's hard to believe that the community is just a quick 35 minute drive from Perth's CBD.

In keeping with The Glades' goal to create a close-knit community that combines the best of city and country life, the Glades Family Festival is an event where there will be something for everyone, from the youngest child to the most senior citizen. There will be live family-friendly entertainment from Murphy's Lore, carnival rides, face painting and native animal demonstrations.

The Glades Family Fest will also be a celebration of the return of The Glades' popular Arts and Produce Market, a top spot to head to for unique presents for your friends and family. With over 80 stalls selling fresh locally-grown produce and gorgeous hand-crafted wares by some of the local area's most artisans, you're sure to find just what you're looking for.
Finally, The Glades Family Fest will also be the official opening of the new Information and Sales Centre in what will eventually be the village centre of the community. To go into the draw for a chance to win an iPad Mini, be sure to 'check in' here some time during your visit.
For a terrific day out in the great outdoors, totally free of charge, be sure to take a drive down to Byford and spend a few relaxing hours at The Glades Family Festival.
