Celebrate the cultures of the Pacific
Celebrate the cultures of the First Nations peoples of the Pacific at the National Library of Australia's 'A Taste of the Pacific Family Day'.

Taking place on Saturday October 13 from 10am-3pm, there'll be traditional music and dance, talks, food stalls and exhibition tours. Kids can learn the basics of Island dance and hula as well as play on the inflatable obstacle course on the lawns of the National Library. You can also enjoy a world-famous Island Watermelon drink, and help yourself to a traditional 'Keke' Island donut, 'Palusumi' Taro Chips or traditional curry while embracing the cultures of Australia and the Pacific.

This fun free event is being held in association with the National Library's current major international exhibition, 'Cook and the Pacific'.
